The Salthras

Utreng

Frodhrin guided Daefala toward the plateau he had spotted in the distance between the peaks.

The icy winds caused moisture to freeze on his riding goggles. Squinting, he tried to wipe the ice away. When he could see clearly again, a vast mountain plateau lay before him. This is where the Skybridge will be built!

Between the two oceans rises an enormous mountain range, the Salthras, which winds in a spiral around the oceans of Thraen.

The total length of the Salthras exceeds the circumference of Thraen, thereby dividing Thraen into two halves. The Salthras is Thraen’s most imposing geographical feature. With its towering peaks, the Salthras presents an insurmountable barrier between the two seas. Even for the Drakhes and their riders, crossing the Salthras is an extremely risky endeavor.

The city of the Drakhes lies inaccessible in the highest mountains of Salthras’ spine. No one but the Utreng know of it.

Deep beneath the mighty peaks of Salthras beats its heart, the hidden place where the greatest secret of the Utreng comes from.

Also known as the “Head of Salthras,” this is the end of the Salthras mountain range facing the White Sea.

The “Tail of Salthras” is the other end of the Salthras massif, next to the Silent Sea, on the opposite side of the Sea of Winds.
