It was impossible to see what lay beyond it! This horizon marked the end of the world, while the upward-curving horizon of Thraen was only its beginning: it opened up the view of the world instead of hiding it.

The world at the center of everything is a small celestial body floating in the center of the hollow sphere that forms Thraen.
Beeledhans Eye is the exact opposite of Thraen — a small jungle planet, very fertile, overgrown with plants, with a rich flora and fauna. As far as can be seen from Thraen, there are no seas; the water sources of the inner world are of unknown origin.
Things were already happening as the elders had shown him. The worst was now imminent.
